Student must cancel via Mindbody 24 hours prior to class start time. Student will be considered late cancellation if they do not cancel prior to cancellation window and do not arrive to to the event on time. Doors will be locked promptly when the event begins. No refunds will be issued. If you cancel before the 24 hours mark, your Jai account will be credited and funds can be used for future use at Jai.

How can you reflect on this from a ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ perspective?

Beyond your mat, asteya is more than not physically stealing. It is to abandon the very ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐๐ง๐ญ or ๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ซ๐ to possess or take anything-whether it is material, relationship, achievement, success, time-that ๐๐จ๐๐ฌ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ primarily belong to you, through force or deceit or exploitation, by deeds or words or thoughts.
To fully embody this, it is important to look ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ of the want. Does this arise out of greed? A sense of lack? Powerlessness? Out of comparing yourself?
Just be conscious, aware of the body, the mind in space.

Ahimsa (the first yama in yogic foundational principles) is often understood as non-harming or non-violence. But itโs not solely about how we treat othersโitโs also about how we treat ourselves. In a world that constantly pushes us to go faster, do more and work on the externals, practicing ahimsa means embracing compassion, gentleness and mindfulness toward our own bodies and spirits.
Itโs about listening to our healing intuition and choosing to follow it. It means giving ourselves permission to rest and letting go of the need to always be productive. It can also meaning giving yourself the extra push of love and courage in trying something new and beneficial. True self-care aligns with ahimsa because it allows us to nurture ourselves in ways that promote balance and well-being. By carving out time for stillness, reflection and choice, we can truly honor our needs without judgment or guilt.
