Join Vivian for a 60 minute Yoga class for teens ages 11-17. Adolescence can be a challenging time when your kid’s body and brain are starting to change and new challenges arise such as school stress, emotional intensity, and identity exploration.
Yoga and mindfulness have been shown to help with stress management, self-acceptance, focus and attention, and physical and mental health. In this workshop, Vivian will lead your teen through a fun yoga flow focused on moving with breath. We’ll explore mindfulness skills and end with a short meditation.

Join Krista on Saturday for a 90-minute Restorative Yoga session that will give you the time and space you need to dive deep into relaxation, rest, and renewal.
Restorative Yoga utilizes many props to support the student (literally and figuratively) and aid you in fully surrendering into each pose with very little to no effort. The poses are held for long enough to allow your body to drop into complete relaxation.
Restorative yoga “restores” the body to its parasympathetic nervous system function, which, in turn, helps the body rest, heal, and restore balance.
This class is pretty much what everyone needs, whether we’d like to admit it or not.

This is a perfect offering for anyone who wants to recommit to “goals” set in January. To recommit to yourself and to your vision of yourself. This class is an offering to reset your focus, but mostly your energy.
In a Kundalini Yoga practice; we endeavor to generate energy, focus that energy in a specific place within, and to ultimately embody and contain that same energy. This practice helps us shift, and feel more like our authentic selves. Leave with a sweet reminder of how uniquely special each one of us is.
Class will include: Slow flow warm-up, Pranayama (breath work), Kriya (dynamic movement with breath), relaxation, and meditation. Some yoga experience is helpful for this class.

Join Cat for a Qi gong class that’s all about the heart! This qi gong flow for love is about the frequency of care , joy and connection. Love is wired in our nature as humans and in this class we will expand our capacity for unconditional love and compassion.
What often prevents us from fully experiencing love are negative thoughts and beliefs from past experiences. In this class we will purge old energy and believes and emotions and activate the heart center of the middle dantien. We will tune into the love that already exists within ourselves and tap into and release unexpressed emotions that are blocking the flow of Qi through the heart.
The heart is the rule of emotions and also responsible for supplying blood to our entire body. In this class we will improve circulation for mental clarity, less fatigue and more energy. One or two yin yoga poses will be offered at the end of our practice. ...

You are not alone!
Everyone starts as a beginner. The ‘Jai Total Beginner Series’ has been created for this reason - to help you find the motivation, trust, and confidence that will prepare you to confidently step into your first public yoga class at Jai.
Expect to break down the basics: from what to do upon entering the studio to the most common poses you will see in Jai classes. You will receive a brief history of the practice and breathing techniques you can take anywhere with you.
The main focus will be the postures, safe alignment, and how to use yoga props to work for you. We will teach you some common yoga “lingo” to help enable you to easily follow along in public classes.
The intention of the Jai Total Beginner Series is to give you the courage to walk into a studio class and say, “I’ve got this;” to give you the strength to push through your fears and anxieties and to realize your yogi-rockstar potential.
This practice will change your life if you let it.
