After suffering a back injury in 2015 which led to surgery and the end of her career in law enforcement, Nicole turned to yoga in 2017 to help further her healing journey. Finding yoga to be just what she needed to help her recover from her trauma both mentally and physically, she decided to become a certified yoga teacher in 2019 to help others heal in the ways that she had.
In 2020, it was discovered that Nicoleโs original procedure had failed and that she would need another surgery. Finding herself extremely limited physically, she turned her focus on the gentle healing practices of meditation, pranayama, Yoga Nidra, and Reiki to help her through this next phase of recovery. She found that these practices, along with incredibly gentle postures were key in helping her mind and body to heal once again, even though her physical limitations were far greater this time around. Utilizing the tools and knowledge she has gained from this journey she is ready to return to the studio once again with the goal of helping others heal from their own trauma.
Nicole is a 200 Hr certified Yoga Teacher and a Level II Reiki Practitioner. She is mom to an adventurous little girl named Josie and loves spending time with her family and being in nature. The healing power of crystals, essential oils, and meditation, along with a good book and hot cup of coffee are some of her favorite things. She looks forward to helping you find your path to healing, however that may look for you.
