Laurel has completed over 700 hours of various yoga teacher trainings, including Vinyasa, Yin, Kundalini, Barkan, Youth Yoga, and Reiki. She has assisted in various yoga teacher training programs in the Capital Region and has experience teaching yoga and mindfulness to adolescents through a non-profit she co-created (Holistic Youth Project). Laurel, is an experienced therapist with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and holds a Certificate in Graduate Studies in Mindfulness. She is passionate about blending traditional therapeutic principles with the transformative power of yoga and empowering clients to be their own best healer, both in the studio and in clinical sessions. In her free time, Laurel loves hiking, cooking, listening to music (especially live), reading, traveling, and cuddling with her cat.
