this time, it’s about us.
the reality of being your teacher is often times, we can get lost if we don’t stay a student.
just like you, a teacher’s practice is imperative to their well being and their ability to show up. without this practice, a teacher can lose the integrity that’s weaved into sharing yoga with you.
feeling lost, unstructured, ungrounded without your practice? teachers can feel that, too.
it’s so important to the potency of the practice a teacher serves that they maintain their own. reclaiming the devotion, the foundation, the teachings is what creates an unshakable space for everyone to land.
thank you, for allowing us to continue learning along side you.
all of us, just walking each other home.
POV: a morning spent at Jai
Where you get to choose how you show up.
Messy, calm, energized, tired—we welcome it all.
We’re just here to hold the space—for you to be you, exactly as you are.
A space to make space…
Between you and the pace of your week.
Between you and the mental clutter, the to-do lists, the overstimulation, the overwhelm.
Every day at 9:30am, choose from traditional non-heated or hot yoga.
Both will take you where you need to go.
That’s not for us to decide.
This space is yours to make.
Classes all day, everyday 🙏 see you there
We are overflowing with pride and joy as we celebrate one of our beloved teachers, Jenn Newman, for accomplishing something extraordinary — not just as a runner, but as a radiant light of service, dedication, and heart.
Jenn recently completed the Boston Marathon as part of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team, a journey that began not with a superhuman running time, but with a bold heart and an unwavering belief in community. She poured her soul into the rigorous charity application process (six charities, five rejections, countless hours of planning), and when she was accepted into the Dana-Farber team, she pledged to raise $15,000 to fund life-saving cancer research.
Her plan? To use her yoga teaching to fundraise. And she did it. Through her classes, workshops, collaborations, and the generous spirit of her students and supporters, Jenn exceeded her fundraising goal.
She never stopped giving of herself, even when the journey got hard. And on Marathon Day, she didn’t just run — she celebrated. Jenn danced at street parties, high-fived kids, cheered on teammates, and ran with joy in her heart. She says:
“The marathon has broken my heart so many times, but yesterday was not one of them… I ran comfortably and had high energy the whole time. I stopped to sing and dance… and the turn onto Boylston was unforgettable and possibly the most magical finish line I’ve ever run through.”
Her experience running for something beyond herself, as part of a team committed to healing and hope, was the experience of a lifetime. And it reminded her — and all of us — that sometimes, the most powerful journeys aren’t about time or speed, but about heart, courage, and showing up for others.
Jenn, your Jai family is in awe of you. Your strength, joy, and dedication ripple through our community, and we are so lucky to know you, learn from you, and be inspired by you. Thank you for letting your love of running and yoga be a force for good.
From all of us at Jai — congratulations on completing the Boston Marathon and becoming a true champion for Dana-Farber. You have touched so many lives, and we are forever grateful to walk (and run!) beside you.
With love,
your jai home 💛
WHAT IT MEANS TO BE IN THE 1K CLUB 💫
Some of you are so close — and we’ve got a special gift waiting for you.
It’s less of a club, more of a celebration — for showing up 1,000 times at Jai.
It means you’ve lived in alignment with the very foundation of this studio: devotion, intention, community, and connection.
It’s reflecting on all the moments you trusted the power of the practice, leaned into your own strength and wisdom — on and off the mat.
It’s knowing you always had and have the choice to show up, tune in, or not — and choosing to do it anyway.
We are endlessly grateful for each of you. Thanks for making this Jai world go ‘round. 🫶🌍

Ari’s classes are where strength meets play. She blends advanced poses with precise alignment cues, grounding somatic practices, and strength-inspired flows to get you out of your head and into your body. Expect a challenge, but also space to explore—because yoga is humbling, silly, and meant to be fun. Whether you’re building strength, refining technique, or getting upside down, Ari’s goal is to help you feel more connected, confident, and at home in your body.

“Elevate yourself through the power of your mind, not degrade yourself, for the mind can be the friend and also the enemy of the self.” — Bhagavad Gita 6.5
It’s easy to think that pursuing ourselves means chasing success, accumulating things, seeking approval, or grasping at what never truly satisfies. Yoga teaches that the deepest fulfillment doesn’t come from what we accumulate; it comes from what we cultivate within. When we quiet the mind and turn inward with curiosity and devotion, we become our own greatest ally. We live from a place of clarity, peace, and purpose. As we align with this inner truth, the outer world naturally follows, falling into place with greater ease, harmony and wholeness.
If you’re ready for THIS kind of pursuit, teacher training may be on the horizon…

are you practicing “𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥“ yoga?
this concept of perfection follows the human experience everywhere.
the looking around on the mat to make sure you’re doing it “right”.
yoga is not folding yourself into a pretzel any more than it is going to work or making dinner for your family.
yoga simply, 𝐢𝐬.
every breath, every step, every thought…it’s yoga.
even if you never step foot inside of a classroom, you still practice yoga should you choose to be aware of it.
pranayama, asana, mantra, meditation; these are all just outlets. pathways to connect deeper into something beyond yourself.

to practice, is to jiggle the imaginary door handle of all you could ever be.
whether it is the very first time stepping onto a mat, inviting liberation into the conversation,
or,
the one thousandth time you committed to creating a space of love and safety for yourself,
you are becoming the key to the reality you would like to live.
when you sit in these four walls, and surround yourself with souls that yearn to create change, the energy is clear; 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮.
