Ari specializes in teaching challenging classes that blend advanced poses with precise alignment cues to get you out of your head and into your body. She believes movement is the ultimate medicine to reduce runaway thoughts and bring equanimity to your mind. In Ari’s classes you can expect somatic grounding practices, powerful sequences inspired by various modalities (think strength training or Pilates), and compassion meditation principles. But let’s not get too serious here. Ari loves that yoga is silly and humbling, too. She makes sure to leave time for play and getting upside down in every class. Her goal is to help you feel stronger, more connected, and confident—both on and off the mat.
Ari began her yoga practice in 2012 and completed her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training through Jai Yoga School in 2017. When she is not teaching or practicing yoga, Ari can be found at the top of a wind turbine. She has two degrees in Mechanical Engineering and works in the renewable energy industry specializing in optimized installation of wind turbines. She is obsessed with vegan cooking and is a serial hobbyist (backgammon, Pilates, cycling, paddle boarding, hiking, embroidery, watercolors, roller skating, reading, cleaning, caring for my home jungle, swimming, camping, baking, and dancing to name a few. You name it, she loves to do it, much to her bank account and husband’s annoyance)!
