✨ Qi Gong Flow For Mental & Emotional Clarity ✨
When the emotions are turbulent, the mind does not think clearly and has difficulty making decisions.
The routine interweaves Qigong for the earth element and fire element to create a clear mind and heart. Qigong movements are chosen to clear excess emotions from the fire meridians and open the cranial sacral pumps. Then we move into a series of flows that opens the chest and directs the Qi through the Three Dantian and Central Meridian Channel.
We will end class with a few yin yoga poses.

The sounds of the gongs and singing bowls facilitate the movement of chi, and with their ability to induce a spontaneous meditative space and the quieting of mental chatter, the gongs and singing bowls offer an opportunity for increased vitality, healing, expanded awareness, and higher consciousness. The experience will show up in the manner in which it is specifically needed for each person, thus supporting that person’s individual process and healing potential.

Join Cat as we explore the five Yamas in this 6 week series.
A yama is a duty or observance recommended by yogic philosophy and teaching as part of the eight-limbed path of yoga. In Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, he outlines five yamas as his first “limb” of yoga. Practicing the yamas is said to give the yogi the opportunity to live in a way that is healthier and more peaceful.
We will explore:
• Ahimsa: non-violence or non-harming
• Satya: truthfulness or honesty
• Asteya: non-stealing of other’s property or time
• Brahmacharya: moderation in all of the yogi’s impulses
• Aparigraha: non-coveting.
We will combine some journaling, discussion and sharing, meditation and breath work and some movement in each class. It’s so helpful to have community and others on the path to support each other and share ideas about the best ways to bring these beautiful guidelines into our daily lives.

Restorative Yoga utilizes many props to support the student (literally and figuratively) and aid you in fully surrendering into each pose with very little to no effort. The poses are held for long enough to allow your body to drop into complete relaxation.
Restorative yoga “restores” the body to its parasympathetic nervous system function, which, in turn, helps the body rest, heal, and restore balance.

In this small group healing session with Cheryl Beckmann, crystals, crystal pyramids, and loving energy will be incorporated in such a way as to allow for cellular healing and energy alignment.
