Blair’s love for yoga began over a decade ago when she discovered the practice of Restorative Yoga which helped her heal a frozen shoulder she developed while training for a fitness competition. Due to the incredible healing benefits it had on her body she went on to receive her Restorative Yoga Certification from Mary Aranas at The Pure East Yoga School in New York City and her National Academy of Sports Medicine(NASM) Certification. Blair lived a fast-paced life in New York City during her career there as a Celebrity Fashion Stylist.  She has travelled the world styling musical icons, national and international ad campaigns, Broadway shows, supermodels and countless magazine covers. One of her career highlights was being a regularly featured Fashion Stylist Expert on the Rachael Ray Show. Blair moved to Saratoga Springs to live a more humble life and furthered her yoga training with Gopi Kinnicut and The Bhakti Yoga School. Blair received her RYT200HR Bhakti Yoga Certification in 2014. In 2017 she completed an 8 week Mindfulness Self Compassion based program with Ann Saffi Biasetti, PhD, LCSWR and a 9 week Full Spectrum Healing Chakra Series with Nini Gridley MSEd, BFRP.  In 2019 Blair received her RYT300HR Antarvedi Yoga Teacher Training at Jai Yoga School with Meg & Dustin Horan. Blair is an ERYT200HR & RYT300HR Yoga Alliance Registered and Certified Yoga Teacher and currently teaches weekly classes at Jai Yoga School.

Her experience is shared with her students to teach and encourage a safe purposeful practice where precise cues for proper alignment, breath, and mindfulness join together to create a well-balanced yoga foundation for the beginner to the more advanced student alike. Her class sequences are fun, playful, challenging, creative, and strong with restorative poses woven into the cool-down. In Blair’s classes you will not only build physical strength, but will learn to deepen your spiritual practice and quiet the mind by discovering your breath. Her classes are accompanied by mindfully curated playlists that are inspired from her travels around the world. Blair’s compassionate heart, delicious hands on assists, and sweet savasana will leave you floating out of class. With a love for Bhakti music and playing the harmonium her classes begin with chanting the sacred sounds and ancient mantras used in yogic traditions originated in India. Her mission is to be of service to share her gifts of this practice she has received from her teachers and to continue to inspire her students to take the lessons they learn on their mats into their everyday lives. She encourages her students to live mindfully with a compassionate heart and to spread kindness everywhere they can. She also loves to give really big hugs.  If you see her try to sneak one in!
